Health and Wellness BenefitsMedical — H&R Block offers the Consumer Choice Plan and Max Consumer Choice Plan. Both plans qualify as a high deductible health plan, meaning you are eligible to open a Health Savings Account, to which both you and H&R Block contribute. These plans do not have any copayments and all preventive care is covered at 100%, even before the deductible is met.
Physical Well-being — Throughout the year, we focus on physical well-being and our commitment to helping you live a healthier lifestyle. Our goals each year remain the same: healthy associates and lower costs for both you and the Company. That's the foundation of our consumerism and shared responsibility strategy. The programs and resources we have in place, including a health assessment and biometric screenings, help us achieve these goals, and reward you for your efforts with incentives and rewards!
Dental — The H&R Block dental plan provides preventive and diagnostic services as well as restorative and orthodontia coverage.
Vision — The H&R Block vision plan provides coverage for the annual eye exam, lenses and frames.
Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Short-term and Long-term Disability — H&R Block provides a variety of options to help you take care of yourself and your family in the event of injury, illness or accident.
Flexible Spending Accounts — In addition to the Health Savings Account, associates may also elect to defer money into either the Medical or Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account.
Wealth AccumulationRetirement Savings Plan — The H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan, a 401(k) plan, provides the opportunity to save on a tax-deferred basis. H&R Block matches up to 4% of your contribution, and, you are always 100% vested in both your and the Company matching contributions.
Employee Stock Purchase Plan — This plan provides associates the opportunity to purchase H&R Block common stock at a 15% discount.

Employee Assistance Program — H&R Block provides associates with the opportunity to seek counseling services, up to 5 visits, free of charge to help with personal, professional or financial concerns. In addition, there are a variety of resources available in print and online.
Tuition Assistance Plan — We encourage you to make life-long learning a priority. For our full-time associates, we'll reimburse up to $5250 per calendar year for qualified tuition, books and enrollment fees after 1 year of employment.
Tax Preparation Services — Associates may choose between having their taxes prepared by one of our tax professionals, or, by using our online or software services.
