Download and Install Updates

1. Tell us which version of TaxCut software you're using:
   
   

   - Select Your Product Version - Basic + E-file Standard Premium + E-file Premium + State + E-file

   
   Note: Be sure to select the correct version, otherwise the software will not update properly. To determine which version of TaxCut you have, follow these steps:
   
   • Open the software
   • From the Help menu, select About TaxCut
   • The software version is displayed at the top of the About window
   
   
   
   
   
2. When prompted, save the update file to a known location, such as your desktop. The file will be named in a format similar TaxCut_Premium_2008_Update_B.exe, depending on your product version.
3. Close TaxCut, if it's open.
4. Double-click the update file on your desktop (or other location where you saved it).
5. Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
