You can search online to find the phone number, address and directions to one of our more than 11,000 H&R Block retail offices.
Find an office.- Can I schedule an appointment with an H&R Block tax professional online?
Using Tax Professional Finder, you can search for a tax professional by location or area of expertise or even find the tax professional you used last year. You'll see a summary of the tax professional's experience and their office location. Once you find the right tax professional, you can make an appointment online to meet with the preparer.

Simply call your local office to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
- What kind of training do your tax professionals have?
As the leader in tax preparation, we have the best tax professionals in the country-Over 100 hours of minimum training for first year tax professionals.
84 hours of required specialty tax training. Classes range from individual topics such as Itemized Deductions, Depreciation, Rental Real Estate, Farms, Investment Income and Disposition of Business assets. Business topics covered include Partnerships, Corporations, Estate Taxation and Gift Taxation.
24 hours of mandatory continuing education each year.

- What if I'm audited?
If you are being audited, H&R Block is on your side. From the time you receive an IRS notice to when the audit is resolved, you can depend on Audit Assistance or Audit Representation to help you through it.
- How can I get a head start on preparing my 2010 tax returns?
You can get a jump on your taxes by sending copies of your W-2s to an H&R Block office of your choice using W-2 Early Access. H&R Block has arrangements with many employers to securely access your W-2s electronically. This FREE service would allow you to receive your W-2s sooner than you would receive them from your employer. Learn more about getting a head start on your returns.

If you've filed your taxes and are entitled to a refund, the IRS gives you several options for receiving it.
Check: When you mail your return to the IRS, you'll generally receive your mailed refund check within 6 to 8 weeks. If you e-file your return, you should receive your refund check within 3 weeks.
Direct Deposit: e-file your return, and the IRS will deposit your refund in your bank account within 8 to 15 days. If you mail in your return, direct deposit generally takes 5 to 7 weeks.
- How do I get my refund?
