3 ways to refer friends today

My friend wants to learn taxes

If your friend is interested in taxes but has no experience, H&R Block’s Income Tax Course is designed for them. Through flexible, online and in-person classes, students obtain the knowledge and skills required to be a first-year tax pro. If they pass and they’re hired at an H&R Block office, you’ll earn $150.

My friend has tax experience

If your friend has a background in taxes already, our Tax Knowledge Assessment puts their knack for numbers to the test. Passing the assessment is the first step towards a career as an H&R Block tax pro, and it’s free to take. If they pass and they’re hired at an H&R Block office, you’ll earn $250.

My friend wants to work in a tax office

If your friend has a passion for helping people, we have multiple paths for them to choose from. Our tax offices are supported by team leaders, receptionists, and other office roles that impact each and every client experience. If they’re hired as a receptionist, you’ll earn $50.

  8. In the event there are multiple referrals for the same successful candidate, only the earliest submitted referral will be eligible for a bonus.
  9. In the event the same candidate is referred for, or is hired into, both an Experienced Tax Professional and a First Year Tax Pro position, only the first job the candidate is hired into can result in a referral bonus payment.
  10. Field leaders and those involved in the interview/selection process are not eligible for a referral bonus.
