How do I apply for the Emerald AdvanceSM line of credit?

The Emerald Advance line of credit is available nationwide beginning November 18, 2019, through January 10, 2020. Make an appointment or walk in to your local participating H&R Block office to apply.

What do I need to bring to my Emerald AdvanceSM appointment?

To get you started on your application, you do not need to provide your W-2. You should, however, bring the following to your appointment.

How soon will I know my credit limit?

At your Emerald AdvanceSM appointment, you’ll complete your application and submit it to the Bank. If your application is approved, you’ll know the credit limit before you leave the office.

Emerald Advance draws are loaded to the Card Account associated with an H&R Block Emerald Prepaid Mastercard® (or to the Card Account associated with your existing Emerald Card® if you have one).Disclaimer number110.
