Last week, H&R Block recognized 19 company and franchise associates for going above and beyond for their clients at the 2016 Henry W. Bloch Excellence in Client Service awards dinner. The awards recognize H&R Block tax-office associates for their extraordinary client service, exceptional tax expertise and ongoing commitment to company values.<\/p>\n
The award is named in honor of Henry W. Bloch, co-founder and honorary chairman of H&R Block and chairman of The H&R Block Foundation. More than six decades ago, Henry Bloch and his brother, Richard Bloch, began preparing taxes for clients with a clear principle in mind \u2013 providing exemplary service for a fair cost. That principle is still lived out today \u2013 in Henry, in the 19 award winners, and in every H&R Block associate.<\/p>\n
Award winners visited the company\u2019s world headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri. Their visit included a tour of the state-of-the-art facility, luncheon and photos with Henry Bloch and the awards ceremony with H&R Block senior management.<\/p>\n
