Emerald Card one of the best in two categories; scores high overall<\/h2>\n

CardHub recognized H&R Block\u2019s (NYSE: HRB) Emerald Prepaid MasterCard\u00ae<\/sup> as one of 2015\u2019s Best Prepaid Cards<\/a>. CardHub used its proprietary cost comparison tool<\/a> to evaluate features, fees and services of 40 of the most popular prepaid cards based on four common usage habits among consumers.<\/p>\n

The award-winning card, recently named a 2015 Consumer Champion by industry publication PayBefore, features an easy-to-use app<\/a>, direct deposit options, 24\/7 account access, and bill pay plus the ability to earn cash rewards for shopping at select retailers.<\/p>\n

The Emerald Card also is just one element from H&R Block to help consumers with money management skills. Through the H&R Block Dollars & Sense Budget Challenge, the company teaches financial literacy to teens and recently awarded more than $3 million in scholarships and grants to high school students and teachers nationwide.<\/p>\n
