\"\"After a week of intense voting at HipsterTaxCrisis.com<\/a>, Socrates was elected the \u201cGreatest Hipster in History\u201d with 31.7 percent of the votes in an announcement made at the first Irony Games<\/i> in Seattle.<\/p>\n

The star of \u201cBill & Ted\u2019s Excellent Adventure\u201d and Greek philosopher, Socrates just barely bested historical luminaries including President Abraham Lincoln, who finished with 31.4 percent of the votes. The esteemed Albert Einstein finished in third place with 28 percent of votes for the award already being considered on par with the Teen Choice Awards, Nobel Prize for Peace and the Robert Goulet Memorial Mustached American of the Year.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll be calling like Mr. Socrates later to congratulate him on receiving this immense honor,\u201d said ESPN anchor Kenny Mayne, who\u2019s been leading a campaign to educate hipsters about taxes and highlight their greatness at HipsterTaxCrisis.com<\/a>. \u201cMy money was on Jack Kerouac but either way, it\u2019s very important to have an award like this while helping today\u2019s hipsters understand their pasts while educating them about taxes and ironic mustaches.\u201d<\/p>\n
