To keep the tax season celebration going, H&R Block brought joy to taxes with four events before the Big Game, including Guy Fieri\u2019s Flavortown Tailgate and three first-of-its kind \u201cTax Prep TailgateSM<\/sup>\u201d events that took place in Phoenix, Baltimore and Birmingham, Ala, inspiring people to file from anywhere \u2013 even a tailgate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company partnered with local restaurants and celebrities for star-studded, football-themed tax filing celebrations, making it the most rewarding Big Game yet.<\/p>\n\n\n

In fact, H&R Block would like to keep the celebration going, keep reading for more that went down in Phoenix, Baltimore and Birmingham in celebration of tax season and the Big Game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guy Fieri\u2019s Flavortown Tailgate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

As a sponsor of Guy Fieri\u2019s Flavortown Tailgate, we brought joy through the H&R Block Football Toss. Attendees were able to channel their inner quarter back while also learning about the ease of online Do-It-Yourself taxes and an easy switch to H&R Block to avoid getting Turbocharged. Experts were onsite to answer any tax questions and help make tax season an enjoyable experience to accompany attendees\u2019 Big Game celebrations. Fans were also welcomed with free food and entertainment by professional DJ Diplo and musical duo Lo Cash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Actor Michael Rainey Jr.<\/a>, was on hand for the tax season celebration, and \u00a0popular influencer @CorporateNatalie<\/a> chimed in online, encouraging filing to get a maximum refund. Guy Fieri himself made appearance at H&R Block’s booth, showing off his football toss skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Down the road from Guy\u2019s Flavortown Tailgate at the Dave & Buster\u2019s Tempe, a Tax Prep Tailgate celebration was in full swing. During this event, attendees poured into the pregame experience to file taxes online, onsite with tax pros. Local influencer @AieshaBeasley<\/a> cheered on attendees who showed up to file their taxes before the Big Game \u2013 and most came for the taxes \u2013 not the party.<\/p>\n\n\n

There were two other locations in the United States where H&R Block saw an opportunity to bring the tax party: Baltimore and Birmingham. In Baltimore at Guildford Hall Brewery, influencer @MorgsVsTheWorld<\/a> brought in attendees with her game day posting, and ABC WMAR-2 News and CBS captured the event for locals, including a live interview with a switcher from TurboTax\u00ae to H&R Block.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Birmingham at Cahaba Brewing Co., influencer @DavidasDiary<\/a> live posted her pregame experience while WBRC FOX6 News<\/a> asked what the party was all about. Needless to say, attendees enjoyed the tax filing festivities, and some even became loyal H&R Block fans for life. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is the best tax filing experience I\u2019ve ever had, and everything was explained on a level that was easy to understand,\u201d said Jacob Bruner, a Birmingham Tax Prep TailgateSM<\/sup> attendee. \u201cThis was so much better than using TurboTax\u00ae. I will definitely be using H&R Block again next year \u2013 I can\u2019t imagine using any other company now.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At all three events, the atmosphere was filled with H&R Block green lights, football d\u00e9cor, a DJ, referees, family games, local food and more. People filed their taxes onsite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
