Why you received IRS Letter 4458C<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. You either filed a tax return with a balance due, or the IRS filed a return on your behalf.<\/li>\n
  2. You set up an installment agreement<\/a> to pay off the balance due.<\/li>\n
  3. You missed a payment on your installment agreement.<\/li>\n
  4. The IRS sends Letter 4458 to notify you that a second payment was missed. You are asked to contact the IRS to make up the missed payments or, if necessary, re-negotiate the terms of the installment agreement.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Notice deadline:<\/strong> 30 days<\/p>\n

    If you miss the deadline:<\/strong> Your installment agreement will be canceled.<\/p>\n
