From there, you should click on \u201cCheck Refund Status\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>If you do not have access to a computer, you may also contact <a href=\"tel:1-800-742-7474\">1-800-742-7474<\/a> or <a href=\"tel:1-402-471-5729\">1-402-471-5729<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Nebraska Department of Revenue\u2019s online refund status tool offers a fast way for Nebraska taxpayers to check on the status of their income tax refund. <em>(Please note: this doesn&#8217;t apply to amended tax returns)<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>So, how long should you wait?<\/p>\n<p>Allow a minimum of 30 days to get receive your refund if you e-file an error-free return.<\/p>\n<p>For paper returns, allow a minimum of three months to get your tax refund (pending you submitted an error-free return).<\/p>\n<p>Your Nebraska refund will likely be sent three months after the date your return was received, if your return is filed by the due date.<\/p>\n<h2>What can cause a delay in my Nebraska state refund?<\/h2>\n<p>There are a number of things that could cause a Nebraska refund delay.
