Having an issue with your e-filing refund status? H&R Block can help. If your e-filing status is pending or not updating more than 48 hours after filing your return, you need to go back and make sure that your e-file was successful.<\/p>\n

How to Check E-file Status<\/strong><\/h2>\n

To check your e-file status, go to Overview<\/strong> in the H&R Block Online product. If you see the status \u201cE-file transmitted\u201d or \u201cE-file status ready,\u201d that means you filed your return successfully.<\/p>\n

If the e-filing status says something other than \u201cE-file transmitted\u201d or \u201cE-file status ready,\u201d you need to follow the steps provided there to finish filing your return.<\/p>\n

If your status is \u201cE-file status ready,\u201d choose Check Status<\/strong> and follow the steps on the screen.<\/p>\n

If it\u2019s been more than 48 hours since you submitted the return and your e-filing refund status is pending or hasn\u2019t changed, wait an additional 24-48 hours before you check again. The IRS occasionally experiences a high volume of traffic, which can delay processing returns. When your e-filing status changes, we\u2019ll email you to let you know.<\/p>\n
