If you’re having issues with your antivirus blocking a program from installation, you\u2019ll need to know how to fix that when you want to install H&R Block Tax Software<\/a>. If H&R Block won\u2019t install, your antivirus program or system settings might be blocking permission for installation.<\/p>\n

First, check your computer\u2019s security software instructions to see how to turn off that program.<\/p>\n

How to Unblock a Program When You Still Can\u2019t Install H&R Block Software<\/h2>\n

If you still need to stop your antivirus program from blocking our program, here\u2019s how to fix that:<\/p>\n

  1. Find your downloaded program.<\/li>\n
  2. Right-click on the Setup.<\/strong>exe\u00a0<\/strong>file, then choose Properties<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Click\u00a0Compatibility<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. Under Compatibility\u00a0<\/strong>mode<\/strong>, check the box next to Run this program in compatibility<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
