Frequently asked questions

The Fund Her Future Grant by H&R Block is awarding $180,000 in total funding to up to four outstanding small businesses. Four recipients will receive a $45,000 grant. Selected recipients will also receive expert support in the form of a year of complimentary tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, and business structure analysis services to help build a solid foundation for growth.

The grant program is open to full-time or part-time small business owners, no matter if you’re a sole proprietor or have employees. To apply, you must be eighteen (18) years of age or older (19 in AL and NE). At this time, this program is only open to U.S. residents. This funding is specifically intended for existing and established companies who have generated a minimum of $20,000 in revenue in 2025. Nonprofits are not eligible for this program.

We are looking for full-time or part-time or women business owners who, in addition to funding, could use expert help with small business taxes and other small business services like bookkeeping and payroll. 

The application period starts September 1, 2026 at  9:00 am Eastern Time and ends September 22, 2026 at 6:00 pm Eastern Time.
