Is Emerald AdvanceSM an H&R Block loan?

No, Emerald AdvanceSM is not an H&R Block loan. Typically, loans involve a lump-sum amount to be used for a specific purpose. By contrast, Emerald AdvanceSM is a revolving line of credit, which means you can borrow money up to a certain limit and then pay the funds back – again and again.  And while you can apply for it at H&R Block offices, H&R Block is not the lender – MetaBank®, N.A., is.
