How Do I Change the Email Address on My Online Account?

Keeping your email address up to date in your H&R Block Online account is a good idea, so you can stay informed about your taxes. We use your email address to send you important messages about your filing, the status of your refund, and more.

To change your email address:

  1. Sign into your online account.
  2. Go to the Overview screen and choose Update email address.
  3. Save your changes.

Once you’ve updated your email address in your H&R Block Online account, be sure to add our email address (onlinetaxes@hrblock.com) to the address book in your new email account. This prevents our notifications from going into your spam folder.
