What Do I Do If I Forgot My H&R Block Username?

If you’ve forgotten your username or password, or have been blocked from logging into your account, choose the Forgot My Username link next to the username box on the login screen.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • The email address you used for the program
  • The last five digits of your Social Security number (SSN)
  • The answers to your security questions

Be sure to include your mobile number as one of the ways to access your account if you forgot your H&R Block username or have trouble logging into the program in the future.

How Do I Reset My H&R Block Username or Password?

Sign in to your account and choose the appropriate link(s). Unfortunately, if you’re trying to reset your H&R Block Online login and you’re unable to remember your identifying info, you won’t be able to reset your login – for your security, we don’t keep passwords on file. You’ll need to create a new account.
