Global Color Palette
Our shared brand color palette is anchored in a new, global green. This darker brand color allows us to meet AAA accessibility requirements while still maintaining the equity we have in green.
H&R Block, Block Advisors and Spruce align to a strong accent color to be used for highlights, CTAs, etc. A global neutral sand and dark green balance out the strong accents.

Typography
Our brand font, Graphik, brings the brand to life with an elegant neutrality. Its low contrast and large x-height give the typeface great versatility and make it an excellent tool for a wide variety of executions.
As the primary font for H&R Block, Graphik sets a conversational yet confident tone for our communications across all channels.

Iconography & Illustration
To help unify the H&R Block family of brands, icon and illustration styles have been updated to become global assets that can be consistently applied across the enterprise.
-
Iconography
Our icons are a global design element, used to support H&R Block, Block Advisors, and Spruce communications. We use icons to guide users through our products and experiences, as well as to support our communications. Icons serve to convey information quickly and efficiently.
Our icons are single color, and can be used in either Global Dark Green or Sand depending on the background.
-
Illustrations
Our Illustrations can deliver an expressive, emotional or narrative layer to our visual communications.
With the intentional inclusion of all three neon accent colors, these illustrations can be used across all three brands. However, when desired, the designer can alternatively choose to use only the featured brand’s accent color in an illustration rather than all three.
-
Photography
Our global photography features warm imagery to complement our sand neutral, while offering a foil for neon accents. Our style offers a base style without graphic elements that can be used across all brands. To add more interest and ownability, we have three accent treatment styles that can be employed across each brand.
