I need to amend my return. Is it possible to e-file amended return?
No. The IRS will not accept an e-file amended tax return. If you need to amend your return to claim Earned Income Credit (EIC) or any other credit after you have already submitted an e-filed return, you must print and mail your amended return to the IRS for consideration.
