You can check your refund status at www.irs.gov using the “Where’s my refund?” tool. You can also call the IRS refund hotline at 800-829-1954.
Refund information is usually available 24 hours after the IRS acknowledges receipt of your e-filed return.
If you don’t receive your refund within five days of the date specified by the IRS, contact the IRS refund hotline.
