H&R Block Recognized for Board Gender Diversity
H&R Block, the world’s largest consumer tax services provider, was recognized Tuesday for gender diversity within its board of directors.
The Circle of Champions Award was presented during a luncheon sponsored by WIN/WIN and the Network Exchange, both Kansas City organizations that advocate for greater gender diversity in business leadership positions.
H&R Block Chief People Officer, Aileen Wilkins, accepted the award on the company’s behalf.
“H&R Block is proud to be among the Kansas City companies paving the way for women in the C suite,” Wilkins said.
This is the second year in a row that H&R Block was recognized for having at least 20 percent women board members.
H&R Block’s current women directors are Vicky Reich, former senior vice president and chief financial officer of United Stationers Inc., and Christy Wood, chief executive officer of Gore Creek Capital Ltd.
