User friendly taxes

I have bought and used H&R Block tax software for many years. It's consistently excellent and has enabled me to save thousands of dollars by allowing me to prepare all of my returns myself. The process of inputting data is logical and organized and the software does the work of doing the math and getting the information from form to form. Finally, eFiling is easy and expedites the acceptance by IRS and state agencies.

Helped prepare, but could not e-file.

I used the free file with H & R guidance version. Overall, it helped me prepare my tax return. I was not able to e-file it, because H&R could not verify my identity. It is possible the photo of my six year old driver's license wasn't acceptable. But I was able to print the return and mail it.
