I have a question about amending tax return(s) and when to amend taxes. If I found an error on my return, which I already filed. However, I haven’t received my refund yet. Can I correct my return error before I receive my refund?

When amending tax return(s), the IRS recommends you wait until the original return has been processed before using Form 1040X to file an amendment.
